blog stretching for tour

As our 08 tour approaches I am thinking about trying to stay on top of this blog and post some thoughts from the road. Tour is generally a lot of the same thing. Driving staying in hotels that all look alike, doing the same show every night, so a daily report from the road can be just that... the same thing. But if something occurs that appears to be blogworthy, it'll show up here. So now I'll stretch my blogging powers: last night we previewed the show at the UCB in LA in front of friends, family, crew and some fans of the show. It went well and it was a chance for us to test out the material on a friendly crowd. We got some great feedback and we all feel pretty good about hitting the road. Today i celebrated by going to the glendale galleria to try and buy some shoes for the tour. an all purpose sneaker deal that i can wear every day. no luck. i will venture out again tomorrow. Here's someone i ran into in LA. A real craftsman!

I dressed up as an athletic Robert Smith this year. I imagined what it would be like for Robert before a Cure tour. And I think I nailed it. Tight biker shorts and huge rats nest hair! Success! Now onto your outfits. These made me so happy and a little scared. What do your parents think of you dressing like Casey! I love it.

Look at the size of Jan's head in this photo. This guy could easily be on our show. And Wayne, nice suede vest.

The cotton ball beard makes this for me.

I don't think the Beaver Boys would ever have facial hair.

Perez Hilton style. Very nice.

This has to be the best one. Gravy Robbers? Amazing!
